To drive interest in PetSmart's involvement in Phoenix Pride I created this video to highlight past parades and the Associates that participated.
Flyers of various sizes that were displayed at the Phoenix Home Office as well as local stores and Distribution Centers to encourage Associates to sign up for the Phoenix Pride Parade.
To encourage signups we partnered with the cafe to add stickers to the cookie packs. We also had a team-building event where Associates came to apply branded stickers to water bottles, which were then handed out parade walkers during the Phoenix Pride Parade.
To encourage signups to reach our goal of 400 Parade attendees, I created posters for the campus. As we reached each milestone we raised the gray cloud to reveal the rainbow. This communication was also sent out in email blasts.
At events around campus, I designed a photo frame and selfie props to help Associate's show their Pride.
Hand-held signs were created for Parade walkers to hold to highlight PetSmart's stance as a supporter of LGBTQ+. These signs were hand-crafted by associates in a group event for the local Phoenix parade, and signs were also sent in kits to store groups across the country for their own local pride parades.
We encouraged Pride At Work members to volunteer for roles in the Parade via sign-up sheets and email blasts and provided information flyers to inform participants on where to meet up, how to get shirts, and general rules for participating.
PetSmart and Pride At Work also worked closely with the Human Rights Campaign to foster an inclusive work environment. As a sponsor, Pride At Work was featured in their event brochure for the 2019 Phoenix Human Rights Gala, to which Pride At Work was invited to.
